On April 1, WCLV was live at at Severance Hall for a concert by the Cleveland Institute of Music orchestra, conducted by Jaime Laredo. Angela Mitchell caught Mr. Laredo in between rehearsals to preview the program: "Voyage" by John Corigliano, Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5 in E-flat Major, Op. 73, “Emperor," and Tchaikovsky's monumental Symphony No. 6 in B minor, Op. 74, “Pathétique.”
