This week's Cleveland Ovations features Ars Futura, a Cleveland-based collective of classically trained musicians who commission and perform new music. On the program is music by all living composers, including Joan Tower, Robert Patterson, Margaret Brouwer, and Mario Davidovsky. Plus, we'll hear pieces by two of the winners of the Avant-Garde Idol Competition, Sean Ellis Hussey and Buck McDaniel.
